I enjoy the benefits of connecting with colleagues, friends, clients and other people in our industry.
This isn’t random spam, this is spam being created by network connections. How can this be? Interestingly, everyone views spam slightly differently. I have found a few, who view it as the reason they have a network, which I find interesting.
The benefits of LinkedIn are plentiful, however using it as an adverting tool is not one of them.
Obviously, everyone in LinkedIn has a product or service to promote, but I find the direct emails, which are apparently random in nature, as they not directed to [...]

Our Twitter friend and blogger, Rosina Rothman, the author and creator of BabyFriendlyLA, gave us a tip on the upcoming BlogWorldExpo, in Las Vegas. She sent me a tweet and asked if we were attending.
This was not a conference on my agenda, but after looking at this list of speakers my plans suddenly changed. The list of speakers was like reading my daily feed reads and other people I interact with on Twitter. Having all of them together, at one event, is fantastic.

Over the past few weeks, I have noticed an increase in brand discussion, the leading question, what brands are on Twitter?
The blog Fluent Simplicity dedicates an entire page titled [...]

I have found this to be a to be a complement to traditional face-to-face networking.
Businesses are expanding globally and online social networks make it easier to develop business, promote, communicate and share resources around the world. It has helped make it easier for small and medium sized companies to grow their networks and compete in the global market place.
Where to start? That is indeed a great question, one I had in the beginning. I started with one of my favorite internet resources, about.com.
They had several articles to point me in the right direction. The first Online Business Networking Tip: Be [...]
